DESCRIPTION:Online Learning\nAs AI continues to drive global conversation around photography\, image makers are utilizing this new terrain to grow and enhance their creativity. Whether you believe AI heralds the demise of photography or are excited to embrace it in your work\, you can benefit from familiarizing yourself with this new tool and the possibilities of generative art for creativity.\n\nJoin award winning photographer and educator Ann Elliot Cutting to explore the capabilities and limitations of AI\, in this introduction course to Generative Image Making with Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilizing Midjourney. Trained on 5.8 billion images\, Midjourney converts user created text prompts into unique images.\n\nThis course is designed for artists\, designers\, and photographers that are new to the world of AI-generated images. Through a series of projects\, students will develop their own unique approach to AI-assisted image making and learn how to utilize this new technology in their creative processes. This course will include prompt creation\, blend mode\, seed images\, incorporating your work with AI and the ethics of AI usage.\n\n&amp;nbsp\;\n\nAnn Elliott Cutting is an award winning editorial\, conceptual advertising and fine art photographer. Ann’s images have appeared on the covers of Time\, USNWR\, Washington Post\, Kiplinger\, Science and on many album covers and book covers. Her client list includes Nike\, Nikon\, Lexus\, Target\, Lee\, Pioneer\, Kenwood\, and Ashworth Golf. Her images have been published in Photo District News\, Black and White Magazine\, Communication Arts\, Graphis\, Rangefinder and Nikon World. Ann received a BA in Biochemistry and cell biology from UCSD and a BA in photography from Art Center College of design where she is currently on the faculty.
