SUMMARY:Destination Street: Perspectives on the World of Street Photography with Rammy Narula (Online Learning - Six Sessions)
DESCRIPTION:Online Learning\nJoin photographer Rammy Narula on a six-week global journey through the lens of street photography. Designed for photographers of all levels\, this online workshop explores how place\, perspective\, and personal experience shape the way we see and capture the world around us. Each week\, Rammy will guide you through the photographic practices and visual languages of different countries\, including Thailand\, India\, Japan\, and Australia\, offering insight into how geography and individual point of view inform storytelling on the street.\n\nDrawing from his own career and the collective influence of Burn My Eye\, an international group of photographers active during the rise of social media\, Rammy shares the tools and methods he’s used to build a personal vision shaped by a wide range of inspirations. Through critique\, discussion\, and practical exercises\, you’ll learn how to observe more deeply\, photograph more intentionally\, and ultimately discover your own voice in the vibrant world of street photography.\n\nWhether you’re just beginning or refining your style\, this course offers both inspiration and structure to take your street work to the next level\, no passport required.\n\nThis course is strictly limited to 10 students.\n\n&nbsp\;\nRammy Narula is a Bangkok-based street photographer and writer passionate about learning and exploring. He often credits photography as his lifeline\, allowing him to find meaning and a sense of purpose. In 2016\, his photobook "Platform 10"\, a project shot on a single platform at the Bangkok Central Train Station\, was published by Peanut Press\, a publishing house in New York City. In 2020\, he became Thailand's first Fujifilm X Photographer to represent the street photography genre. A member of the international photography collective Burn My Eye\, Rammy coaches photographers and mentors several workshops each year\, both in-person and online\, encouraging self-discovery and establishing personal connections through the creative process.
