DESCRIPTION:A Photographic Generator by LACP\n\nMarch 1 - October 31\, 2026\n\nPublic Programs: To be announced.\n\nMentors: Mishka Henner (UK) / Erik Kessels (NL) / Aline Smithson (CA\, USA) / Penelope Umbrico (NY\, USA)\nReservoir\, a photographic generator of responses to the shared global crisis of loneliness\, returns for a second year with new cohorts of artists incubating new work.\n\nFrom February-November 2026\, four cohorts of mid-career and established artists will explore various themes around isolation\, mental health and well-being through photography\, and each participant will generate new work that will be included in a curated exhibition at LACP’s gallery in Downtown Los Angeles (by Rotem Rozental\, Ph.D.) alongside a catalog\, before traveling to other locations.\n\nThe exhibition that emerged from the first year of the program included 40+ invited artists and mentors from across the world and is currently on view at LACP.
