DESCRIPTION:At LACP we believe it is imperative to eliminate barriers for entry for emerging artists\, and introduce the powers of visual literacy for youth\, so the discourse around photography will continue to reflect a multilog of voices and enrich global visual culture.\n\nTo celebrate LACP’s first 10 years as a non-profit\, we are launching a 10x10 campaign\, to provide 100 fellowships for artists and students from underserved communities and marginalized backgrounds.\n\nWe cannot sustain a thriving\, national and international photographic community without having all voices heard and all perspectives seen.\n\nWe seek to offer access to artists and students\, so they can experience photographic practice and visual storytelling and find ways to articulate their perspectives and share them with the world.\n\nHelp us reach the goal!
