You’ll dive into assignments that encourage creative experimentation and receive constructive feedback to refine your work. \n\nThroughout the course\, Ken will showcase and discuss both historical and contemporary experimental photography\, offering inspiration and insight. This class is all about embracing the unknown and asking\, “What if?”—taking your photography to uncharted creative territories. Whether you're interested in abstract techniques\, unconventional methods\, or rethinking the rules of composition\, you'll have the freedom to explore and evolve your own style. \n\nTake an imaginative and inventive journey from the mind of Ken Merfeld\, and gain the confidence and tools to experiment boldly\, bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives to your photography practice. \n\n&amp;nbsp\;\n\nKen Merfeld is a Los Angeles-based commercial and fine art photographer. His work has appeared in Vogue\, Harper's Bazaar\, Mademoiselle\, Angeleno\, Zoom\, Black &amp;amp\; White and Los Angeles Magazine. His commercial accounts include American Express\, Nike\, Kodak\, Apple\, Sony\, Pacific Bell\, Disney\, Mattel\, McDonald's and Panavision. During his 25 years of commercial and fine art photography\, he has explored the worlds of autistic children\, people with their pets\, parent and child\, tattooed people\, bikers\, identical twins\, transvestites\, "little people\," erotica and more. His current body of collodion work has been exhibited in Los Angeles\, Santa Fe and Mexico City.
