DESCRIPTION:Online Learning\nIntroduction to Adobe Photoshop is a core fundamental class for photographers. Using Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC)\, the course teaches the most important tools for retouching\, precise image adjustments\, combining multiple images using layers\, and helping students to understand the process behind color correction. David emphasizes a 'non destructive' workflow using layers so the original image is unharmed. Many of the new "Artificial Intelligence" will be discussed with an understanding of when they can be beneficial. This class is centered around a photographer's approach towards Photoshop and practical uses in photography. The class will cover:\n\nPhotoshop Interface and Tools Overview\na. Basic tools\nb. Color settings\nc. Panels &amp\; layout preferences for work space\nd. Troubleshooting guide for getting stuck while working within Photoshop\ne. History Panel\n\nCropping\, Resizing\, Saving\na. Crop tool\nb. Image size dialog\nc. Resolution\, pixels\, file size\nd. File formats\n\nAdobe Camera Raw\na. Basic overview\nb. Camera RAW workflow\nc. Camera RAW Masking\n\nPhotoshop Adjustments\na. Pixel layers and layer masking\nb. Adjustment layers\nc. Select and Mask tool\nd. Non Destructive Retouching techniques\n\nArtificially Intelligent Tools\na. Sky Replacement for making sky swaps easy\nb. Object Finder for selecting and masking areas of your image quickly.\nc. Content Aware Fill for magical retouching.\nd. Neural Filters for instant portrait retouching\, colorizing black and white photos\, and more\n\nThe goal of the course is to develop each student's ability to work with Adobe Photoshop CC while having fun in the process. Assignments will be distributed to the class to follow along and practice with. Additionally students will have opportunities to work with their own images.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDavid Calicchio's a photographer living and working in Southern California specializing in fashion. A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design\, his work has been published nationally and internationally. David was the lead photographer for BCBG Max Azria Group and then at bebe Stores Inc. He is currently Photo Studio Manager at Hot Topic Inc. He oversees the photography for Hot Topic\, Torrid\, and Black Heart Lingerie.
