About

Online Learning Class

Join Gerald Slota in this new expanded edition of the popular An Alternate Vision workshop.  Over three months (but only meeting six -sessions), the class will offer time for students to build and strengthen their singular vision to create a series/portfolio on their experimental projects.  We will discuss presentation of the projects as well.  At the end of the three months, students will have produced a strong, cohesive body of work. This highly creative class encourages “out of the box” thinking, pushing the boundaries of what a “typical” photograph is supposed to be.  Slota will help guide and encourage students and along their path to create new and innovative work.

Prior students of An Alternate Vision are highly encouraged to take this workshop (NOTE:  New students may take the new expanded edition class without having taken An Alternate Vision). With assignments designed to challenge your creative approach in making pictures, this workshop opens new possibilities and provides a perfect forum for those looking to develop a fresh and unique approach in their photographic practice.
