  • April 2, 2022
    10:00 am - 11:30 am

This webinar will teach you how to make impactful fine art images without breaking the bank – sometimes spending nothing at all. Alex Stoddard will reveal tips and tricks for utilizing objects you already have around your home to create whimsical and interesting photographs. A study on accessible conceptual art with an emphasis on self-portraiture.

Alex Stoddard ( is a photographer living in Los Angeles, California. He was born in 1993 and raised in rural Georgia. Inspired by his surroundings and rural isolation, he began taking self-portraits as a teenager. Photography became a means of escape, allowing him to construct elaborate scenes and step into the role of different characters through costumes and posing.

Stoddard’s work is highly influenced by art history in the digital age. He explores concepts of fantasy and surrealism within portraiture, as well as the human form and its connection to nature. He is entirely self-taught and relies on his eye and natural instinct when creating. His style is characterized by simple compositions that frame more meaningful, universal themes. He has worked for clients such as Columbia and Universal Republic Records and exhibited his work in galleries around the world.
