About

In-Person Learning

With the rise of generative AI, artists have access to tools that not only enhance imagery but offer an entirely new medium for creative expression.

Join Ann Cutting for an intensive workshop exploring the powerful role of generative AI in the creation of still and motion imagery. Participants will gain hands-on experience with groundbreaking tools such as Midjourney, Dalle, Adobe Generative Fill, and other stable diffusion applications, discovering how these technologies can complement and expand upon traditional photography. Through the course, we will dive into how AI can not only enhance but reinvent current processes, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in both personal and commercial work.

Assignments, studio and location photo shoots, computer “lab” work sessions, crits and active discussions will be an essential part of the workshop, fostering a collaborative environment where participants can test ideas, ask questions, and refine their vision. Participants will learn techniques for using their own imagery as style references, tailoring generative results to reflect their unique creative voice.

By the end of the week, participants will have a suite of original work that reflects their own unique approach to this evolving medium. This workshop is for photographers and artists ready to elevate their practice, viewing AI not simply as a tool but as a transformative medium within their creative repertoire.
