Our Planet in Pictures: The Art of Travel Photography with Scott Stulberg (Webinar)

This webinar is designed to provide you with all of the insights needed to create great travel images and become a better travel photographer. Throughout the day, Scott will show many examples of travel photography from all over the world and explain his thought process and workflow from beginning to end.
The emphasis will be on how to create more compelling images and how to push yourself to think differently. During the webinar, he will cover the essential gear and understanding and mastering your gear, great travel destinations, how to prepare ideas and do research before you travel, logistics including planes trains and automobiles, capturing people while you travel, critiquing your own work and much more.
Scott will also dive into post-processing and how important this is to the final image and to your creative process. This webinar will help you understand the art of creating powerful travel images and what it takes to push yourself to create one-of-a-kind images while traveling.
Scott Stulberg (http://www.asa100.com/) is a travel and stock photographer who journeys often to distant lands looking for unique photographic opportunities. He is represented by many stock agencies including Getty Images and is a contributing writer for both Shutterbug and EOS magazine. Scott has led photography workshops to many places around the globe, from Burma to Africa to the Galapagos Islands and loves teaching workshops in the US to special places. He also teaches digital photography and Photoshop at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles and the Sedona Arts Center in Sedona, Arizona and has taught at many other schools including the Los Angeles Center of Photography and the Art Wolfe Digital Photography Center in Seattle. Scott and his wife Holly live in beautiful Sedona, Arizona.
Scott is the author of Passage to Burma, with 270 pages of photography that capture multiple trips to his favorite country and he is also co-author of The Digital Photographer’s New Guide to Photoshop Plug-Ins. From Time, Newsweek, Microsoft, National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel and Leisure, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, ABC and CNN News to greeting cards, calendars, bill boards and book covers, his images are used internationally. His photographs are in collections all over the world, including on permanent display in the United Nations and the new UCLA Medical Center.

This class is part of our Saturday “Webinar” series. These 90-minute online presentations, taught by leading leading professionals in the field, are designed to be informative and educational. A wide range of topics will be explored. Each webinar will end with Q&A from the audience.
