The Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP) is proud to present a series of Artist Talks from Aline’s Smithson’s The Master Class 2022. The group has an extraordinary collection of projects that represent universal concepts of loss, mortality, and legacy. Other projects consider our connection to the land, climate change, celebrating beauty, aging, and human connections. The work presented is a wonderful reflection of the power of photographic storytelling and expression.

The three-part series of events will take place on October 19th, November 2nd, and December 7th; 5pm PST start time. All talks are free, but RSVP is required.

Aline Smithson will moderate all artist talks.

Online Learning via Zoom

This series will be held online via Zoom software/application. Each segment will run about 90 minutes in duration with time for Q and A.
