Join Westcott top pro Ian Spanier for this webinar and learn the #1 thing you need to be doing NOW for better portraits (and two other secrets). We will also be discussing lighting tips and tricks, location lighting (equally applicable info if you are primarily in the studio) and working with your subject (getting the best out of them, and when you can’t, what to do).

Born in Connecticut and raised in Westchester, New York, Ian Spanier ( has had a lifelong interest in photography—since age six, to be specific, when his parents gave him his first camera: a Kodak Disc. He is a Westcott “Top Pro,” as well as an ambassador for ThinkTank Photo, Spider Holster, Hoodman USA, CamRanger, Naroo Global, and Sekonic. Ian is a regular award recipient of major photo competitions, including Communication Arts, American Photography, SPD, The International Color Awards, The International Black & White Spider Awards, PDN’s World in Focus, Best of ASMP, Planet Magazine, and Seeing the Light, to name a few. He loves to share his experiences as a lecturer for Canon, Westcott, PPA and the NY Photo Expo, B&H, The Santa Fe
Photographic Workshops and The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
