About
In-Person
Join us for an intimate panel discussion featuring three of the most prominent names in the photo world – Sam Abell, Greg Gorman and Aline Smithson. Moderated by LACP’s executive director, Rotem Rozental, the discussion will focus on each photographer’s approach to their own art – what interests them the most, what distinguishes a great photograph from an average photograph, and how to effectively tell a story with image-making.
The afternoon will open with a slideshow presentation of student images worked on during the Photo-Immersive workshop retreat, April 8-12, 2024 in Balboa Park, San Diego, followed by the panel discussion.
This event is open the general public. Special pricing is given to Medium Festival of Photography attendees and Members of the Los Angeles Center of Photography, San Diego History Center, Museum of Photographic Arts, and the San Diego Museum of Art.
