Join Caleb Knueven for a dynamic 90-minute photowalk to Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles, designed for photographers working with all types of film cameras. The session begins with a brief classroom introduction near LACP, where Caleb will share tips on shooting film. From there, participants head out to explore the bustling market and surrounding streets, capturing candid moments, textures, and architectural details through their own analog lens.

This experience invites students to immerse themselves in the rhythm of the city while refining their film photography skills. Participants should bring their own film camera (any type), pre-loaded and ready to shoot.

This photowalk is part of the AnalogCon programming, celebrating the art and joy of film photography in a collaborative, real-world setting.

Caleb Knueven is a Los Angeles–based film photographer and creator of the YouTube channel Bad Flashes, where he shares the art and process of shooting film. Raised in a military family, moving every four years shaped his instinct to explore and document the world around him.

His work is drawn to forgotten spaces and the quiet stories they hold. For Caleb, photography is about curiosity, movement, and chasing moments that feel just out of reach.

When he’s not shooting, he’s likely walking the coast with his Leica M6, coffee in hand.

• Tuition: $10 (includes one free roll of 120 film)
• Limit: 15 participants
• Location: Downtown Los Angeles (LACP Headquarters), 252 S. Los Angeles St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
• Parking: Street parking, Public parking: Terasaki Budokan Recreation Center (paid, underground, just across the street from LACP) and Joe’s Auto Parks Parking, 330 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013 (paid, surface).
