Bio
Eric J. Smith is a documentary photographer and video director who travelled the world for CBS, chronicling the work of international nonprofits from East Africa to Haiti. His work has been published by National Geographic, Smithsonian, and the Times of London. Eric has won First Place in LACP’s Thresholds competition in 2024, 2026 and First Place in the 7th Annual Members competition in 2022. Eric’s bird photography book “Wild Wings of Hollywoodland” will be published by Angel City Press and distributed by Simon & Schuster in early 2028. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and lives in Beachwood Canyon.
