About
At LACP we believe it is imperative to eliminate barriers for entry for emerging artists, and introduce the powers of visual literacy for youth, so the discourse around photography will continue to reflect a multilog of voices and enrich global visual culture.
To celebrate LACP’s first 10 years as a non-profit, we are launching a 10×10 campaign, to provide 100 fellowships for artists and students from underserved communities and marginalized backgrounds.
We cannot sustain a thriving, national and international photographic community without having all voices heard and all perspectives seen.
We seek to offer access to artists and students, so they can experience photographic practice and visual storytelling and find ways to articulate their perspectives and share them with the world.

YOUR DONATION WILL BE MATCHED BY THE SUGARSHACK FUND, up to $10,000. The Sugarshack Fund enables young and emerging artists to develop their creative voice through learning, seeking to remove financial barriers that might prevent them to develop their work and share it with the world.
