About
Join us for a special artist talk and walkthrough with Stephanie Shih, the inaugural recipient of the Aline Smithson Next Generation Award. On Saturday, February 1st, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Shih will guide us through her solo exhibition Flourish at the Los Angeles Center of Photography.
Known for her poignant, photo-based still life and multimedia installations, Shih will discuss her exploration of Asian-American and immigrant experiences, cultural symbolism, and the intersection of joy and trauma in her work. Engage directly with the artist and gain insight into her powerful visual narratives and creative process.
