Additional insight on the significance and utility of art fairs in the primary market will give aspiring exhibiting artists an insider’s perspective on the curatorial selection process in contemporary photography galleries.
Douglas Marshall is an independent curator, art consultant and owner of the gallery Galerie XII based in Los Angeles. Following completion of undergraduate studies in Studio Art at the University of Texas at Austin, Douglas worked as a photographer before moving to the West Coast to pursue a curatorial career in the contemporary art world.
