About

Debe Arlook and Eric Kunsman created a collaborative book that helps demystify photography portfolio reviews. The book comprises a series of 25 interview questions presented to 22 portfolio reviewees (photographers), 17 portfolio reviewers, and five portfolio review organizers. In this webinar, we will present essential information from the book that benefits participants on both sides of the table.*

The book’s contributors share valuable stories about the preparation, sitting at the review table, events away from the review table, and approaches for follow-up after the reviews. Participants will discover various opinions and approaches to a successful portfolio review event. Debe and Eric will summarize their book findings and share their personal successes and failures at portfolio reviews.

Both Sides of the Table: Photography Portfolio Reviews Do’s & Don’ts due Fall 2024, published by RIT Press. Attendees for the webinar will receive a 20% off coupon for the book.
