The Circle: A Crit Group for Recent Grads

This application-based program is designed to provide a creative support network for post undergraduates, up to five years after graduation. This will be an opportunity to continue creative conversations, open up to new ideas, and join a creative community of peers.

The group will meet once a month for six months in-person @ LACP. Meetings will focus on work presentation and evaluation. Additional skill-development lectures will be organized online (schedule TBA).

At the end of the incubation period, the group will have a culminating event, introducing its participants to the LACP members community.

• Acceptance is contingent on application. All applicants are expected to join LACP membership – 30 under 30.
• Each meeting will include 4 presentations by group members. Participation for all is mandatory.
• Applications are due by August 31, 2026, and selections for the 12 students participating in The Circle for 2026-20207 will be announced no later than September 15, 2026.

• Parking: Street parking, Public parking: Terasaki Budokan Recreation Center (paid, underground, just across the street from LACP) and Joe’s Auto Parks Parking, 330 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013 (paid, surface).
