In an effort to support our community and photographers affected by the devastating fires, LACP will host a free and open to the public Photography Equipment Drive on February 15, 10:30 am – 1 pm at our DTLA home. Donations welcome.

In-Person at LACP Headquarters
In an effort to support our community and photographers affected by the devastating fires, LACP will host a Photography Equipment Drive on February 15, 2025 at our DTLA home.
The event is free and open to the public, and all affected by the fires are welcome to join and find photographic equipment they need.
We will be collecting donations of cameras, lenses, printer paper and other photography gear to help those in need within our community to rebuild their creative passions and livelihoods.
If you have gently used or extra equipment that could help, please consider donating. Only items in working condition – let’s make sure these donations can immediately support those in need.
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations and times:
- Freestyle Photo & Imaging Supplies, 5401 West Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90027; Monday – Friday, 10 am – 6 pm; Saturdays, 10 am -2 pm
- Los Angeles Center of Photography, 252 S. Los Angeles St., Los Angeles, CA 90012; Saturdays, 10 am – 1 pm
- Samy’s Camera locations: Los Angeles, 431 S. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036; Orange County, 3309b S. Bristol St., Santa Ana, CA 92704; Pasadena, 1759 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91106, Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm PST

- IMPORTANT NOTES: There is a five item limit per attendee. We kindly ask all participants to bring a driver’s license to check zip codes.

- Location: Downtown Los Angeles (LACP Headquarters), 252 S. Los Angeles St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
- Parking: Street parking, Public parking: Terasaki Budokan Recreation Center (paid, underground, just across the street from LACP) and Joe’s Auto Parks Parking, 330 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013 (paid, surface).
