Transitory Reverberations is an exhibition of work from LACP’s Los Angeles Street Collective (LASC), a dynamic group of street photographers committed to visually capturing the spirit of Los Angeles and integrating the work back into the community. LASC photographs activity in public spaces, attempting to redefine traditional notions of street photography while interpreting the shades and rhythms of a sprawling habitat where diverse worlds clash and merge in complex ways. Its members nourish each other’s creative journeys while engaging in deep dialogue about the work, both on an individual and collective level.

Fire Relief Print Sale

LACP’s Los Angeles Street Collective is offering 11 prints for sale as part of the exhibition. All proceeds will be dedicated to support photographers whose livelihood was affected by the fires.

LACP and the Los Angeles Street Collective are committed to supporting photographic communities and help members, friends and LA’s visual storytellers to restart and rebuild.

• Participation in DTLA Art Night on Thursday, May 1, 6 pm – 8 pm PST
• A Meet-Up street photography field session, free and open to the public on Saturday, May 31, 1 pm  – 4 pm PST, starting at LACP.
• A closing reception on Saturday, May 31, 4 pm – 5 pm PST
