Entering its fifth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
This year, on November 29th, 2016, we ask that you support the Los Angeles Center of Photography with a small donation. Our goal is to raise $10,000. Join the #Giving Tuesday movement and help us achieve our goal!
Your donation will go toward:
1. Supporting the Boyle Heights Boys & Girls Club Photo Club
2. Supporting our work with the Spark Program
3. Scholarships for classes
4. Grants for emerging and contemporary photographers
5. Expanded event programming
6. A traditional darkroom, and more.
