Kelly Fogel is a Los Angeles-based documentary photographer whose long-term projects explore identity, resilience, and social justice across a wide range of communities and causes. With over two decades of photographing protests and social movements, her work documents both global struggles and personal transformations. From the skateboarders and surfers of Havana to surgical mentorship with Ohana One, the Hidden Jews of Ethiopia, a rehabilitative gardening program in a California women’s prison, and wildlife conservation efforts, her storytelling reflects a deep commitment to compassion and change.
Kelly’s work is currently being exhibited in various locations both locally and internationally, and is also used by non-profit organizations to amplify their missions. In addition to her documentary practice, she is a dedicated mentor, supporting emerging photographers in using visual storytelling as a tool for impact.
