LACP: What kind of photographer are you?
Caleb Cain Marcus: I’m a human!
LACP: How long have you been shooting?
CCM: Since I sang to the deer.
LACP: Where did you get your training?
CCM: Practice.
LACP: When did you know you wanted to devote your life to photography?
CCM: I love the trees, the sky and the animals and hope that we protect them and care for this earth.
LACP: Did you ever come close to giving up?
CCM: Life is like a river whose flow can take us in all directions.
LACP: Have you sacrificed anything by being a photographer?
CCM: Time.
LACP: What have you gained by being a photographer?
CCM: A storage problem.
LACP: What do you love most about teaching?
CCM: Discussions and problem solving.
LACP: What advice would you give someone who is thinking about making a career in photography?
CCM: Find a rich husband or wife.
