Los Angeles is a massive, sprawling metropolis housing neighborhoods and communities of all shapes and sizes. In this class, students will take advantage of this melting pot of environments and turn their cameras on their neighborhoods in an effort to document their communities.
In Street Portraiture for Teens, students (ages 15-18) will learn how to capture intimate, unposed portraits in urban environments, honing their ability to spot unique moments and engage with subjects naturally. Led by photographer Todd Felderstein, this hands-on class will develop your storytelling skills, technical expertise, and confidence in creating impactful street portraits, all while pushing your creative boundaries in real-world settings.
