About
In-Person Learning
In this three-hour course, we’ll talk books, process, techniques, publishers and explore how to engage with the medium in a way that the content and the form are inseparable. When this happens books can be unique personalities increasing the reach and audience for the project and photographer.
In the second half we’ll chat publishers, collaborators and finances discussing the process of pitching, fundraising, ways to see if a publisher is a good fit, who you need on your team and what role they serve to ensure your book has impact. Throughout the workshop we’ll use case studies and look at books as we talk.
