About
Online Learning
This online course introduces boudoir photography as a thoughtful, artistic, and emotionally intentional form of portrait-making. Rather than teaching boudoir as one fixed look, this course presents it as a genre with range — from soft and suggestive to cinematic, minimal, sensual, and fine art inspired.
Students will learn how to create tasteful, intentional intimate portraits while beginning to discover their own visual style. The course focuses on light, mood, direction, trust, and thoughtful image-making, helping students create work that feels natural rather than forced. Whether students are working in a bedroom, a small apartment, outdoors, or in a studio, the emphasis will be on learning how to make strong images with what they have.
This course is intended for anyone with a curious, artistic mind and the desire to take intentional, tasteful boudoir photos. Ideal for beginner to intermediate photographers who want to explore intimate portraiture in a creative, supportive, and visually refined way.

Sara Abbassi is a photographer and educator whose work focuses on boudoir, feminine portraiture, and travel photography. She teaches photography across the country, helping students build confidence, find their voice, and understand photography as the art of controlling light, shaping mood, and creating connection.
