David Ellis

David Ellis has helped companies in a wide variety of consumer and B-B categories capitalize on radical change. His unique experience in business and brand transformation helps companies leverage deep business and customer insights into consistently powerful go-to-market strategies and breakthrough creativity. 

With a deep background in consumer electronics, entertainment, technology and energy, Ellis has worked with some of the world’s most influential visionaries and creative talent. He has helped launch more than 100 companies including DirecTV, Fandango, Vivint, Hallmark Channel, and Edison Enterprises, and led significant branding engagements for IBM, HP, and Epson. He pioneered a suite of proprietary planning methodologies that have helped several companies achieve multibillion-dollar valuations. Recently, he headed up global product marketing for SanDisk, Western Digital and G-Technology brands for Western Digital.Ellis is a passionate photographer who learned the power of visual storytelling and the immediacy of the photographic moment while working as a writer/photographer for automotive publications. An endless curiosity about the human condition and a strong background in design and performing arts has helped him create work that bridges travel, street, sports, and conceptual photography. Recently, his work has been published and exhibited worldwide.
