Jason Woolfolk

Operations and Exhibitions Manager

Jason Woolfolk has enjoyed his time here at LACP since 2019 overseeing our day to day technical and equipment needs as our Facilities Manager. As of this year, he has assumed the role of Operations Manager and oversees all of our in-person events and classes. Jason is passionate about all aspects of photography and the role it has played in shaping society around the world since its beginnings in the mid 1800’s. He is a wealth of knowledge about photography’s history, science, and its practitioners from the past to the present. Most of all, Jason understands the importance of sharing knowledge and how education will continue to germinate advancements and achievements in photography in ways we can’t even dream of yet. Jason’s own educational background in photography started in Texas in 1997 and continued on to New Mexico where he received his BFA in Photography at The College of Santa Fe. He spent a little over a decade working in New York and is now based here in Los Angeles.
