Lori Ordover
Lori Ordover recently relocated to Los Angeles from New York City. In New York, Lori owned a successful real estate marketing and sales company, where she worked on numerous residential developments across North America.
Currently, Lori focuses on Photography and Philanthropy. Lori serves on the Board of Trustees of Los Angeles Center of Photography, The International Center of Photography in New York City, and Penumbra Organization.
Lori’s passion for photography started when her father, the inventor of the digital watch and a lover of technology, bought her the Konica camera in the early 70’s. He imbued her with an interest in technology and gave her confidence to be curious and not fear failure. As a result, in her basement darkroom, Lori has always felt comfortable creating many styles of images using various film types, alternative processes, exposure modes as well as different development techniques. This practice continues today as Lori explores innovative ways to capture and process her work.
After graduating from the International Center of Photography Continuing Education Program in 2014, Lori earned recognition from multiple organizations including: The International Fine Art Photography Awards, The International Photography Awards for Street Photography, The New York Center for Photographic Art, and South x Southeast Magazine.
Lori’s work was previously exhibited at (Le) Poisson Rouge Gallery, Umbrella Arts Gallery, Handwright Gallery, South x Southeast Gallery and selected to be a part of the International Center of Photography #ICPConcerned exhibit.
