One Year Professional Program

This certificate can be completed in-person and/or online.
The One-Year Professional Program allows you to take an unlimited amount of classes and workshops at the Los Angeles Center of Photography (Travel workshops are excluded; limit of and six Special Guest workshops.) Students who enroll in the program are automatically given Individual Level membership, access to the center’s print lab, professional guidance throughout the program, and a group exhibition.
You can study with extraordinary photographers like Sam Abell, Susan Burnstine, Fran Forman, Greg Gorman, Aline Smithson, Eddie Soloway, Richard Tuschman and Stephen Wilkes, among many more.
You can learn Street Photography, Fine Art Photography, Digital Printing, Studio Lighting, Portraiture, Documentary & Photojournalism, Alternative Processes Printing (Wet-Plate Collodion, Cyanotype, Platinum/Palladium) Photo Book Making & Photo Book Publishing, and much more.
You get to choose the classes you want to take. Best of all, you get to spend a year in the vibrant metropolis of Los Angeles completely immersed in photography.
Whether you already have a degree in Photography or have only been shooting for a few years, LACP has classes for you. We help you select classes to allow you to excel as a photographer.
After completing their one-year intensive program, students will receive a certificate issued by the Los Angeles Center of Photography.
Tuition
$9,995
Tuition is only $9,995 for an entire year. We estimate if you paid for two-three classes per month and six Special Guests workshops over the course of one year, this would cost around $20,000, which translates into a $10,000 savings.
