This course explores the “Social Landscape”—the everyday environments shaped by people, culture, and the built world—through the lens of contemporary and historical photography. Students will examine how to photograph the familiar with fresh eyes, developing images that reflect, question, and connect us to the public spaces and shared experiences around us.
