Join photographer Peter Bennett for an immersive one-day workshop in Avalon on Catalina Island, where you’ll explore its rich history and stunning scenery while enhancing your photography skills. This hands-on experience includes personalized guidance on composition and lighting, followed by an online critique session to refine your work and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

In this six-session hybrid class, students will explore the art and ethics of photojournalism, learning to capture candid, authentic moments that tell compelling stories. Through a mix of lectures, critiques, and hands-on fieldwork, students will gain the skills to approach subjects with sensitivity, compose powerful images, and incorporate photojournalistic techniques into various photography styles, from editorial to documentary work.

Join visual artists Anderson & Low for a weekend workshop exploring strategies to broaden creative thinking, enabling students to re-examine their own projects and explore new ways that narrative threads can be explored and used, not only for individual images but also for an entire project.
