The practice of using multiple exposures to create a single image can bring dreamlike, surreal and otherworldly qualities to photography and expands the possibilities for imagination and vision.  Fine-art photographer Manuela Thames demonstrates methods that can be applied to all genres, from portraits and landscapes to abstract and still life.

In this workshop, students will gain a solid foundation of studio lighting and practical knowledge of light. Working hands-on with the equipment, participants will learn how to select the proper light source for their subjects whether shooting portraits, still life or product.

This six-week online course offers a deep dive into the art and craft of photographic composition. Through weekly two-hour sessions, students will explore the essential principles that transform a good photograph into a compelling visual statement—line, shape, balance, contrast, rhythm, and visual weight—while also learning how to break the “rules” with purpose.
