The Los Angeles Center of Photography offers a wide range of programs and services for photographers, from the beginning hobbyist to the aspiring professional. Immerse yourself in an intense one-year program of study, or pursue one of our four certificate programs at a more leisurely pace. Have a kid that’s interested in photography? Make sure to check out our youth program, designed for students in middle school and high school (ages 12-18).

Prefer private lessons over classes? We have you covered. We’ll be happy to connect you with one of our working, professional photographers on faculty.

If you have a friend or family members that’s interested in photography, consider purchasing a gift certificate. Gift certificates never expire and may be applied toward any class or workshop, except travel. Gift certificates may also be applied toward private lessons.

Do a little shopping in our online store. Here, you’ll find numerous photo books for sale, including current and past LACP exhibitions and Member work. You’ll also be able to show your LACP pride by purchasing our branded merchandise (to come).

If you need to study the history of photography or learn about the masters, there’s no better place to start than our incredible photo library, which boasts over 600 photo books. Only Members are permitted to check out books from our library. We’re convinced that once you see it, you’ll want to be a Member.

Finally, if you need a space to exhibit work, book a shoot, make a digital print, or work in post, LACP offers rental services, including digital lab rental, studio rental, and gallery rental. Work in the film business? Our facility is also available for location shoots.

Whatever your wishes may be, LACP is here to serve and fulfill your photo needs.
